So, if you’ve been following my Instagram, you might have noticed that I went to Kos for a week to celebrate my brother’s wedding!
Well, what can I say, we did the Welsh proud! My brother & his new wife had an incredible time & how could he not, especially when the ceremony took place on top of a mountain, giving us a 360 degree view of Kos & its gorgeous turquoise blue coast line, it was dreamy & just confirmed my Greek obsession, the food, people scenery & sunset is like nowhere else on earth!
On the lead up to the big day, I purchased a range of lovely shirts, printed & plain, from some well-known high-street brands, so I thought I’d share with you my top 3 ‘shirts’’ & how I styled them whilst on holiday;
- Reiss Printed Cuban Collar Shirt – Rico – Navy £85
This shirt is me all over, its eye-catching, smart & works so well with a pair of Topman cropped trousers & a pair of Alexander McQueen black sneakers, keeping a smart/causal vibe that was ideal for drinks with the family. I added some necklaces/rings & to finish off the outfit, my trusty Asos sunglasses, with a blue tint (just because I love tinted frames right now!)
I bought size XS, just so it fitted tight to my waist, keeping it smart & tailored when tucked into my trousers, the fabric is light & breathable, perfect for those warm summer evenings- you don’t want a heavy sweaty material, clinging to your skin, especially when its humid! I personally love that the shirt has two designs on either side, a bright floral side then abstract lines on the other, it just looks unique, perfect for me since I’m never the wallflower! The fit, material, design & overall look received full marks from me.

- Hermano Croc Cuban Shirt – £45
If you don’t know about Hermano yet, you will! It’s owned by Towie’s Pete Wicks & his designs give me LIFE. Some of the designs nod towards Versace, the shirts can be purchased as part of a set (see shorts in picture) although I’m all for co-ords, I know that some guys might find this a bit too much, which is fine! For those of you not wanting to dazzle in the full croc & chain ensemble, I also paired the shirt with ripped white jeans & some white Valentino sneakers, which took it from causal evening to smart in a flash- it’s a beautifully versatile shirt.
I love the design, again its very out there, featuring gold crocodiles & chains, but if you don’t mind standing out (like me) then you can’t go wrong. The material is lightweight, & the Cuban collar just makes for a perfect holiday shirt, ideal for those warm nights (it looks great with my Greek tan btw) & I had a lot of compliments! I’m wearing size small since I like my shirts a little more fitted, but this will look great slightly larger & worn open for the pool parties (I’ll be wearing this in Mykonos later on in the year, so keep your eyes peeled for this little beauties second outing!)

- Reiss- Tipped Cuban Collar Shirt- Navy Blue (now £50 in the Reiss sale!)
Another Reiss shirt has made my list, but its not hard to see why, this navy shirt with white tipping just elevated my look to another level, making it ideal for a smarter sophisticated silhouette.
I wore the shirt with Topman white pin stripe trousers & my white Valentino sneakers (my ride or dies) which personally looked gorgeous (if I do say so myself!) However, due to the simplicity of the design, you could pair it with just about any tailored trouser & even shoes, if you wanted to go even smarter. The shirt is so versatile & personally a wardrobe staple of mine. Again, it’s a Cuban collar & lightweight, so it didn’t drag on my body during my evening out, but its structured enough to be worn when the night gets cooler, so I’ll definitely be wearing this little beauty again, even later on in the year! Its size small, which fitted true to my frame & its down to £50, so grab yours now before it sells out!
